Menomonee Valley
The Menomonee Valley Branch of the Urban Ecology Center offers a unique venue for weddings, receptions, parties, business meetings, retreats, and other social events, all nestled along the scenic Menomonee River in Milwaukee’s near south side.
Once a historic tavern, our beautifully remodeled facility combines sustainable design and green building features with charming, historic character. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a large event, our space provides a unique, eco-friendly setting that will leave a lasting impression.

Rental Amenities Include:
Onsite Rental Staff
Two rental staff members will be present throughout the duration of your event to answer any last minute questions and assist with facility-related details.
Furniture
We offer tables and chairs to seat all of your guests (and we'll set them up for you too!), as well as all couches, side tables, countertops, and any other unique furniture found within each of our buildings.
A/V Equipment
In-house sound speaker system, portable PA, projectors, and microphones.
WiFi
We offer use of our wireless network throughout the building and to all guests.
Ample Parking
Our parking lot accommodates 80 vehicles and neighborhood street parking is widely available.
Commercial Grade Kitchen & Appliances
This includes commercial appliances, a variety of small kitchen electrics, and a large variety of serving utensils, cooking utensils, pots, pans and place settings.
Sustainable Approach
Our sustainability guidelines help to lower the amount of waste produced in our Centers, support local businesses, and teach others about how they too can make more environmentally conscious choices.
